Ever read a Scripture that just speaks to you? Well, I originally recorded this video to share on social media after reading Psalm 143:10 (NLT). It truly gave me a fresh perspective on this season I’m in. I’ve been praying to God to tell me His will. Okay, I’ve been pleading!
Then I came across this version on one of my Faith Declaration Scripture Cards: Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.
Hmm…there’s a difference between getting told the right answer and learning righteousness. If you’re confused or unsure about what to do, maybe it’s time to ask God to teach you.
In this bonus episode, we talk about:
- Why studying Scripture matters
- How you might need to change your language from “tell me the answer” to “teach me”
- The difference between rules/religion and relationship
- How the answers that may have worked in the past won’t necessarily work in this new season
