It’s already begun. Folks are claiming what they’re going to do in 2020. Ya’ll. That is such a huge assumption. I’m all for making goals, planning out your success, and all that good stuff. What I’m not going to encourage you to do is wait to start working on your dream.
In this episode of Between the Lines, I picked up some inspiration from Deon Cole’s Netflix comedy special that really brought home this idea. As my mama would say, “don’t put off for tomorrow what you can do today.” Not only is it not promised, but you don’t have as many tomorrows as you think!
The key is to APPRECIATE THE TIME YOU DO HAVE. It sounds simple, but it is hard to do. It’s difficult not to get caught up in the past or the future. The present is often mundane, boring, and tedious. But ya’ll it’s precious. It’s all we got. Let’s be diligent. Let’s be faithful. Let’s be grateful NOW.
